Radical Red foundation
Definitive Red starts from the modern battle and quality-of-life foundation that made Radical Red popular, then pushes outward into its own connected campaign work.
If you are looking for a new Pokémon ROM hack, the latest Definitive Red build, or a GBA project that keeps expanding instead of disappearing between releases, this is the project hub. Every promoted build gets a permanent changelog, real development data and a public roadmap.
Definitive Red is the flagship Radical Red-based project. Future hacks will live beside it with their own releases, screenshots, feedback and build history.
A Pokémon ROM hack modifies an existing game to create a different experience: new maps, battles, encounters, quality-of-life systems, difficulty changes, story work or entire regions. Definitive Red uses Pokémon Radical Red as its foundation and is being expanded as one connected Game Boy Advance adventure: Kanto remains the resident campaign, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova are built, and Kalos is the active v10.91 QA frontier.
The project targets real GBA hardware as well as emulator testing. This website does not host commercial Pokémon ROM images; public distribution is designed around patch files and instructions for legally obtained source games.
The build feed is generated from the authoritative ROM candidate. New versions do not silently replace old changelogs.
Kalos is now staged from Vaniville through Santalune / Viola, Lumiose / Sycamore and the Ambrette frontier.

Sep 15, 2026 · v10.76-sinnoh-spearDefinitive Red starts from the modern battle and quality-of-life foundation that made Radical Red popular, then pushes outward into its own connected campaign work.
Kanto remains resident, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova are built through their regional finales, and Kalos is the active v10.91 QA expansion tracked by the live World Atlas.
The project stays within the 32 MiB cartridge target and keeps static checks, emulator traversal and original-hardware approval as separate release gates.
Build numbers, changelogs, map counts and real mGBA captures are published from the development pipeline so visitors can see what actually changed.
Yes. Definitive Red is an unofficial fan-made Pokémon GBA ROM-hack project. Its current technical foundation is Pokémon Radical Red.
The current website-tracked candidate is Build 10.91.1, version v10.91-kalos-opening. The Updates page always points to the newest promoted candidate.
Real GBA hardware is a target, but hardware approval is tracked separately from successful builds and emulator testing. A candidate is not called hardware-approved until it actually passes that gate.
The browser player can run a compatible local GBA ROM in your browser. Your ROM stays on your device; the site does not upload or provide commercial ROM files.
Every promoted iteration automatically creates a permanent build changelog, while the development roadmap shows the current frontier and what comes next.
Use Report / Feedback. Reports go directly into the private project dashboard and can be tied to the exact page or build you were using.
Each new project can get its own public page, update stream, real captures, roadmap and technical build connection while Pokémon Definitive remains the umbrella project platform.
